Vertical Vintage Guestbook for my Guestroom

Welcome Violet will be arriving tonight (from California to cold Canada) and I am so excited for her 2 week visit! My guestroom is ready and waiting for this cutie and I wanted to share a fun & simple Guestbook idea I made last night :) I found this Vintage Slide Magazine at the flea market last weekend and thought it would look pretty standing up on the dresser. Then I realized, HEY, this would be a rad guestbook! So I added Violets name to the first row on the slide-contents and tucked a piece of paper into the first slide pullout! Now each guest can be recorded & displayed and leave a message when they visit :) It's my favorite part of the room :) Jill has the same slide magazine for sale in her shop if you wanna make your own Vertical Vintage Guestbook :) XO, I'm off to sew curtains and give Lola a bath :) Love Leigh-Ann ps. Violet will be guesting on the next live LA-TV with me! Lots of banter to come... date tba :)

  13. I'm going to go rummage through my dad's attic. he probably has 1000's of these. Really 1000's!! He was an avid photographer back in the day of 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 slides.
    thanks for the idea-
