i love the cabin

Last year Dad and Kody built the loft at our cabin...  it's got a bed, play area, tiny table and chairs and lots of fun toys for Olivia and Kennedy. Amanda set it up like a store display and it made me smile :)

Driving to the cabin takes 55 minutes... just long enough to enjoy the drive but get there quickly :)
Toys from our childhood often show up in the girls toybin... so glad my Mom saved the special ones :)
Old mattresses heading to the dump... so pretty yet yucky.
I "wandered" into this abandoned cabin last summer and it had 5 formica tables inside and a really pretty old fridge :)

This is my peaceful place. I look for rocks shaped like hearts and search for seaglass, ponder, take Lola swimming, suntan on my favorite flat rock and last summer, I went skinny dipping here on Canada Day ;) Canada Day's this Thursday... new tradition?
