TGI Friday!

Yesterday morning, the doorbell rang and I had a big package from my blog friend Kyla :] She made me a rad recipe book full of recipes & photos of sandwiches, salads, and fruits (all my favorite things)... and it is MEGA cool! There's lots of space for me to add more recipes and she even included recipe cards, meal planners and some vintage books for me to enjoy :) THANK YOU KYLAAAA!! :) And a little bonus excitement... my friend from High School told me she had a lot of good old craft stuff in her garage sale... and invited me to come check it out ahead of time. Holy buttons! I got bags & jars of vintage buttons, all separated by color (and ALL awesome!), tiny ricrac, old lace and sequins, some fun vintage tools and this pretty tray of thread :) It was so fun and I feel button-rich! Thanks Miranda :) Some LA Randoms (very random): - I'm so glad Stephen is Paris' new BFF (i had the happy tears) - I love pesto. - I wanna go s.dipping this weekend. - I'm working on a secret Freckled Nest project that is so exciting, I can't wait to share it with youuuuu :) - If I ever have a daughter, I hope she has red curly hair and freckles :) - I bought a bag of throw away cups so I don't have so many dishes. - I think it's time for a new kit, I've been daydreaming about it lately :) - I caught a mouse and ran across the house. Really. - I can't wait to be with my sister all weekend at the cabin, i miss her living 7 houses down the block. - I watched Mystic Pizza last night. Rachel, I think you look like 'JoJo'. Like, a lot. - I'm dying my hair tonight or this weekend :) - I love you. We're heading to the cabin for the weekend early tomorrow morning... and I'm making Taco Salad for everyone one night :) I'm so excited!!
