Tonight Jill and I are picking up takeout and getting together at her Studio to work together and hangout :) I'm stitching Camera Straps and she's making some kind of superlong Finger Knit Garland. I think it's like this...

ReplyDeleteLove this! That gray shirt redo is EXACTLY what I needed! I bought this gray dress at Tarjay last year and have never worn it because it's so unflattering on me. But this is perfect to do a little redo. Can't wait to work some magic on it!
ReplyDeleteoooo i want to try them all too! yes yes yes i do!
ReplyDeleteawesome! finger knitting is so easy. i made an orange garland to go over my windows :) it is super quick too!
ReplyDeleteI think we're on the same wavelength because I just blogged about that awesome finger knitting garland too! :) And I saw Elsie's rug and that awesome shower curtain while looking through my blog reader - so much inspiration!
ReplyDeletei really need to try this finger knitting i keep hearing about! but in the meantime, i am working on making my own 2010 planner/organizer, plus a daily december art journal, plus coming up with some ideas for homemade/handmade xmas gifts (actually it's more like i need to just decide on a few ideas, i have WAY too many in my mind right now). i want to try and make every single gift i give this year (which is kind of hard for some of the boy-recipients, but i'll come up with something)!

ReplyDeleteMy kids bathroom is in dire need of a nice shower curtain (currently only a liner) my goal is to raid my moms linen cupboard (she keeps everything!) and see if she still has some of our old bedsheets...what I'd really like to find would be my old Holly Hobbie bed set, or the Strawberry Shortcake set....{dream}

ReplyDeleteLove the idea of making a mini from a dvd cover, genius! (also love flight of the concords). You should check out The mighty Boosh. It's insane, but brilliant. I'm currently crocheting a bag, it's my first attempt to crochet anything!
ReplyDeleteAw I remember finger knitting at summer camp several years growing up! Memories. I tried again the other day but couldn't come up with a project to use it on. Thanks for the inspiration :)
