my new old things
We went to the flea markets this weekend, and i went old-box crazy. i got the cocacola blue-logo wood box for $3! and this small-record long box for $5... and a few other sweet wood boxes! i just love them. the dresser penny is standing in front of is an antique from an estate sale. they mentioned refinishing it, and i nearly fainted, the color is it's sweetness! the dish, ladle and coasters are from vintage cottage *love* and i'm using this cute little bundt pan for my fav stamps. i also got a new shelf (the one with the book albums on top). its neat cause it kinda frames in each shelf, like a window. i love the way it looks in my studio and i got it for a sweet price!
i've gotta get back to work, i have lots of albums to finish and start. I'm doing a craft sale Sun, December 10th in the city with Jill of Vintage Cottage. It's gonna rock. I'll tell y'all more about it in a few, but mark it on your calenders, hope everyone can come, there will be lots of beautiful things. Stay tuned!
Oh, and i'm excited to share that i'm going to Vancouver in March for the Artistry Conference (w/ Ali Edwards, Donna Downy and Claudine Hellmuth teaching) Best part is, my friend Alice and i are in the same class, and i'm staying with her while i'm in town. I am way too excited about this, it is gonna be SO MUCH FUN!!
This was such a good weekend :)
No babies yet, Amanda is doing good, but definately excited and ready for the twins to be here. I can't wait to meet them! It makes me giggle.
